This is a forum for students with disabilities on York campuses to share experiences, express concerns, and be heard by senior administrators.

November 16, 2017 How to Enable Accommodations

In this workshop, managers will receive a detailed overview of their responsibility to provide accommodations based on the Ontario Human Rights Code, such as those involving disability (including mental health), creed (religion), and sex/gender. Additionally, participants will learn strategies to increase inclusion and accessibility in the workplace.

Zen Zone

Monday & Tuesday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm

The Zen Zone, located in Calumet College, Room 129 is open for students. With its foam mats and comfortable furniture, students will find the Zen Zone a place to relax, read, pick up wellness resources, study and chat with friends. Come by and  ask Health & Wellness Peer Educators from Calumet and Stong Colleges about resources, programs and services.
